CeCe is 22 years old. She was adopted from China as a baby by a single mother, and grew up in Albany, NY. She currently attends Saint Michael’s College where she is majoring in Environmental Science. One of the things that CeCe talked about that surprised me was that she didn’t really like her study abroad program in China. She didn’t like Beijing and she didn’t think the program was very good. She was glad she had the chance to spend some time in China because she been back for a visit before. She said it helped her have more of a sense of what being Chinese is about and that was important to her.
