The Vermont Chinese School in Burlington offers a variety of language and culure classes for young children through adults. At one time they offered a pre-school class specifically for Chinese children who had been adopted.
The China Institute in New York City offers language classes and well as lectures and exhibitions. Many adoptive families in New York City have taken their children to classes there.
The Chinese Academy of Cleveland offers language classes specifically designed for children and adults from non-Chinese speaking homes, while many classes at Chinese language schools are for teaching literacy to children growing up in homes where Chinese is spoken.
